Falkirk Book
Can anyone confirm if Falkirk have had a book out with a complete statistical record? I seem to recall readng a review a few years ago, I think it was published in 3 parts. I know there was definitely a book, but don't know if it had much statistical content.
Falkirk Book
There are at least two statistical books on Falkirk called 'The Brockville Bairns'. Volume 1 covers 1946-69 while Volume 2 gives coverage from 1969-94. There may have been a book covering the years up to 1946, but I can't say for sure.

Falkirk Book
I contacted the club a couple of year ago regarding these books and was told they were out of print. I suppose Falkirk can be added to the list of clubs which have had a complete record published then? Thats quite a few clubs had a complete statistical record published, does anyone know of any others which are being researched? I know major research has been carried out on Stirling Albion, Forfar Athletic and I think Queen of the South.
I think that some clubs issue very small print runs. I know that when I wrote my first Killie book it was sold out within a few months and was changing hands for £40-£50 before I wrote the second one. The Rangers complete record goes for £75 or more. the St Johnstone one was very quickly out of print too and I'd never heard of anything for Falkirk before this thread.
There was a Stirling Albion book in the late 1980s covering up to and including 87-88. It had all dates & results and some crowds. Each season was split into major competitions and others (which included Stirlingshire Cup and friendlies). It gave league tables, competition winners and club officials as well as snippets of information about the season.
What it didn't have though were match line-ups. It gave seasonal totals for appearances and goals but these were all-in including friendlies so there was no way of distinguishing the various competitions.
Queen of the South's website has been talking about a comprehensive publication for some time but the latest I've seen is the book which came out in 1995 which itself is an update of a 1969 publication. it's a good season-by-season history of the club but the only comprehensive stats were dates and results which can be found elsewhere.
I don't know anything about Forfar Athletic other than a history published many years ago which I came across a while back in the British Library. I can't recall a great deal about it but it certainly wasn't a 'complete record' type book.

Stirling Albion
I was in touch with Allan Grieve a while back and he was planning on publishing a book on Stirling Albion with a full stats section.
