Info on Blantyre Vics Scottish Jun Cup Team 1950

Hi,
I am trying to trace any information on my father, Thomas Reid, whom I believe played for Blantyre Vics in 1949 or 1950. I remember as a young boy seeing a newspaper clipping with a photo of my father playing and the caption 'Reid takes Vics to Final'. The clipping was lost sometime before my father died so I am relying on memory only. Do you know how I might best be able to track down this info and perhaps obtain copies of clippings and programmes and any team photos as such? Thanks for your time. Best regards,

Thanks 'sureitsza' for access to the clipping. I should have mentioned that I believe my father played in the game directly leading up to the final. Although he scored twice he took a bad injury above his eye which was stitched at the game. I think this might be why, some few days later, he was unable to play in the final. I cannot locate a clipping for the game or a copy of the programme but I think it was the second replay of the semi-final.

I think everyone else here has covered my answer. There is no mention of a Reid in the 1950 Junior cup final programme.
