McCallum jr & sr.
Renfrewshire Cup final 2nd leg 7th May 1904. Morton - St Mirren 1-1. Morton- McCallum sr is listed as left back and McCallum jr as right half. I suppose jr is ex Liverpool player Don McCallum. Can somebody please help with information about sr?

Re: McCallum jr & sr.
It might be the other way round. John Litster disk says a James McCallum signed for Morton in October 1903 and appears to have been placed on the Open to Transfer List at the end of the 1904/05 season. He only played a handful of league games. He is listed as a right half. Donald McCallum was a full back and had already played two seasons at Liverpool. Donald would have been considered senior in experience to James and that may be how "junior" and "senior" were allocated between the two. Just a guess!

I agree. First I thought senior and junior was father and son. But it can bee about age. And yes, Don McCallum was usually a full back. Sadly we have never found his birth and death.
