The final of the Nicholson Cup in season 70-71 was held at Burghead on May 29 1971. Islavale beat Nairn St. Ninians but I cannot find the score. Anyone have this information?

Almost certainly the same player. I don’t recall another player of that standard with the same surname in that era. There was a Sunnybank player Mike Strachan that I thought got a Junior cap round about the same era. Not on your list so maybe he didn’t.

Pretty sure the Turnbull mentioned was Mike Turnbull. He played for Montrose and Elgin. He might have been on loan at Sunnybank in 81.

I am looking for details (date and score) of the 1976-1977 McLeman Cup Final at Pittodrie. Mugiemoss won it but I cannot remember the opponents. In those days the various grades of football got to play a final at Pittodrie.
