Re James Durkin full back played the first 4 games for King's Park in 1935-36, I have no record of him at the club in 1933-34 season, former Raploch Hearts player. Sorry to say can not find a player James Durkan.

As his Falkirk career, he was to play against Stenhousemuir but sent a telegram saying due to a death of a relative he could not attend. Source The Falkirk Herald 2/9/1899.
Best to check local (Queen's Park) press, if Ian Bill pulled up in the warm up and Denham replaced him, the local Berwick reporter would not be aware and the number 11 shirt scored. Team lines were always phoned in 30 minutes before kick-off for the copy writers and changes were not welcomed.
