There was a midweek Scottish Cup tie between Dumbarton and Clachnacuddin on Jan 29 1975.
The tie was called off late on the Saturday disappointing the large Inverness contingent who had travelled.
The attendance given in the Rothmans for rearranged tie on the Wednesday was 4000. That sounds a lot.
Long shot but can anyone confirm that.

Dumbarton gave loads of home crowds as 4000 that season. 7 League games, against Clyde, Dunfermline, Aberdeen, Ayr, Partick, Hearts and Hibs all reported a crowd of 4000.

In reality these varied from 2852 v Hibs to 4093 v Partick. I don't have an accurate figure for the Clach game.

2,500 according to the Press and Journal. No crowd mentioned in the Glasgow Herald or Evening Times.
